The Land of Cheese and Ham, Parma

Parma, located an hr away from Bologna by regional train.. Its where the Parmesan cheese came from or which better known as Parmaggiano Reggiano in Italy. Its so near hence its better to come to the city and visit the factory that produces the cheese. Not only cheese are famous here, the ham is also one of their main production, the Parma Ham or known as Prosciutto.

At the first glance, we all thought that it will be a short visit to Parma and head to Modena but its seems to be impossible as the factory is located at the outskirt of the city. somewhere in Langhirano.

First, went around the city centre and its the market day.. tons of clothes and local produce are sell in the city. But it doesnt attract me as usual.. shopping is never my thing except for book and groceries.. i'm a freak so get over it.. we went around the city stopping in places to grab coffee.. taking pictures of the dome and palaces.

Then we head to the factory. Taking an hour bus to the outskirt where the owner will pick us up by car, the factory is located very outskirt in a quaint little town.. the factory we went , are not a huge factory of mass production but a small scale parmaggiano factory.

The owner brought us around to see the factory, its pretty tedious process actually.but the outcome is awesome :)

After spending 1 hour visiting, we tuck in into the factory cafe and served by delicious food prepared by the owner family. Its simple dishes, bread with cheese, fresh pizza, some traditional emilia romagna cuisine and bottles of wines.. The whole food and visit only cost us 12 euro per person inclusive the transport, so pretty awesome trips.

After an exhausting day, we hopped the next train back to bologna before heading for drinks in the bar for some apperitivo. More food more booze.

The return of Long hiatus

long hiatus.. been so so busy lately. with the university classes going on as well as my course application not to mentioned the travelling.. life been hectic but fun.

Its long enough for me to finish my first term in bologna and starting another term next week in Bologna.. It marked nearly 4 month stay away from Msia in the beautiful city of Bologna, city of knowledge or also known the city where the Bolognese sauce born..

Its been so much fun spending the term in this city although with a little understanding knowledge of Italian, i'm having so much joy by meeting lotz of people from different countries and exchange knowledge in the course that I never studied before. As intense as the course is, its quite pretty exciting and adventurous in a way..I'm doing a course in Law and Economics which pretty much covered tons of economics with calculation and graphs. Its kinda suck for me coz i kind of struggling on that :x But hopefully i could get it through..

Bologna, is a pretty city which the hustle and bustle of student city. It home to the one of the oldest university in the world which also my current university. The university mostly scattered around one big area in the city centre.

Its a holiday today, as usual Italy has a lot of holidays and things are pretty laid back in holidays.. no store normally open in holidays anywhere.. I'm gonna have a lazy day today.. I gonna blog about my holidays soon but till then.. Ciao!!

its been a long while since the previous update.

I'm done with my CLP with the given up hope to pass it. Its quite definite that i'm failing the papers. Its not even a tough paper that i thought off but hell yeah.. it was a tough paper when i prepared all those revision one month before exam..

But hell yeah, i'm not dwelling with it. I'm now busy preparing my visa for my EMLE, so in a month time, i'm leaving Msia. Never thought that applying an Schengen visa for me to be able to study abroad in those 3 countries are harder than applying visa to remain in a country.

Not only visa that bugging me, I have yet find an accomodation in Rotterdam. The university does not offer short term accomodation for Erasmus so need to find accomodation to rent for 3 months is tough. Its harder to find compare to Bologna and Aix-en Provence. Argh!!

Hopefully after all this application, i will enjoy my last month in Malaysia before flying off for a year.:D

Hong Kong Food

Hong Kong is always a bustling city. When i'm in HK, i feel the times passes so fast. its just a blink of eyes, my days disappeared and its time to head back home. Though with its busy and hectic lifestyle, something that always attract me to travel to HK, is the food. The yummy street food and the yummy bubble tea. Honestly speaking, nothing beat those yummy curry fishball and stinky tofu..

Cant miss out also the yummy roasted rice and their cha chan teng instant noodle..

Without the yummy Mango Pudding as a close of a meal, the trip to HK will not worth it. Hui Lau Shan is one of the famous desert shop in HongKong. Its easy to find one of the outlet as its outlet scattered almost everywhere.

Maybe after this year, i mite be in HK again soon. :D

Ocean Park, Hong Kong

For those who love sea animal or unique animal, you must definitely visit the Ocean Park when you are in Hong Kong. It is where you could enjoy the magnificent show from dolphin, a close view of sea lion, otter, and notwithstanding Panda Bear. Not only that, some unique and rare birds will also on display. For those with family, the park offer not only educational material for kids, but also thrilling experience with the rides available on the peak.

To get into the park, one can alight at Admiralty MTR station and buy a combined bus and entrance ticket for HKD$290.60, where the bus will take you straight to the main entrance of the park.

I went to Ocean Park last month during my extreme short trip to Hong Kong.

The last time i've been to Ocean Park, was 2002. Its been a long while ago. and that i cant remember much happening over there. So this year, i suggested to my dad that we should revisit the park since there were nothing much to visit in HK.

So, thats what I did last March. In Ocean Park, there are 2 main area of the park which are the lower part of park and the peak of the park. The lower part is where all the animals such as whiskers, birds, panda bear and otters are located except for the obvious dolphins. The park itself has completed a series of major improvement or changes since my last visit in 2002. A vast of major entertainment have been offered in the park today.

The Lower part of the Island

In my earlier trip, there were only whiskers, seals and dolphins show. But up to March 2011,the park offered a vast of entertainments and shows from seal, dolphin, panda bear, otter and birds. Its so fun! besides these shows, there are lotz of thrilling rides around the park.

First on the list, Birds' Show. The show is called ' Emperor of the Sky'

Next after the Birds' Show, we went to watch the whiskers show.. This is freaking awesome show as its the way how human communicate with the whiskers..

Panda and Otter Showroom was our next desti. Its been a while since the last time of me seeing a real panda and otter, the last was my year end 05 trips to China. The amazing things is that, its not only contained white panda but also the red panda.

Next, we went to watch the acrobatics show in the Hot Air Balloon Plaza. Its a nice show tho..

After spending hours down in the lower part of the park includes having our lunch, we went up to the peak of the island for more fun. More of, the boys who wanted to play the thrill rides.

The most epic moment in Ocean Park is the Dolphin Show. Utterly amazing.

Maybe not, Dolphins were awesome but my main highlight of the day is the last show. Its a laser and fountain show.. The show that i almost miss out coz everyone was so tired and cold. The temperature drop drastically in the evening. But due to insistence, everyone stuck wif me to watch the utterly brilliant show.

Its about Christ our Lord. Its the time we learn about salvation. The time of his death and his resurrection.

its another usual MIA from me.. Life been such a drama lately.

I'm back from Hong Kong. Its my 6th consecutive year of visit. Its another fun trip with visit to Ocean Park and Disneyland again.

My Clp life sucks.. i have been procrastinate so much that i realised i mite fail the course. Passing it sounds impossible now.

I got into EMLE. If i get through visa application, will be in Rotterdam this Oct..

I'm going China in Aug for holidays. Just to escape the post exam stress. Leaving few days after the nightmare exams. Just got confirmation that exam finishes on 3 Aug which mean 2 days after the last paper, i'm flying off to holiday.

This is juz good news. There are tons of bad news that i encounter. let say.. i shall leave the bad news for myself and let you guys have the good news.

I'm still high from Taylor's concert.. its absolutely amazing.. the best concert i ever had in southeast asia.. every single cent worth it :D

I get to see a close up Taylor Swift.. She is just standing and singing few feet away from me.. and the most excited thingy is, SHE TOUCHES MY HAND..

Next to Taylor Swift, I managed to get a picture with Amos Heller, Taylor's guitarist via Backstage Entrance =D.. Besides picture, i also able to talk to him and got his autograph on my ticket....

The entire concert was amazing. She is so pretty and talented.Besides Taylor, also glad to see all her bandmates close up ie: Caitlin Evanson who stand right in front of me, Grant, Amos, Liz Huett and David Kurt...

The Green Hornet

Thanks to nuffnang for the free tickets to watch the premier screening of 'The Green Hornet'

Its a not too bad movie.. not really my preference. But for those who love funny movie, this is your call.. Besides its not a thrill movie.. suit all age type..

The movie starred by the famous Taiwanese singer, Jay Chou, Seth Rogen, Christopher Waltz and Cameron Diaz. When i saw the movie starred by Jay Chou, i starts to ponder, will he able to pull off an english movie as he is known for his lack of conversing English skills. Its funny to see him conversing English in the show. His English is understandable tho.

Seth Rogen (Britt Reid) and Jay Chou (Kato)

The story start off a bit of confusion. Took almost first half of the movie to understand the story line. It started off with Britt Reid(Seth Rogen) as a kid who plays with superman toys after being sent home from a fight,whilst his father is the boss of renowned news paper company started to lecture him and then destroyed Britt's superman toys.

Then it furthers to 20 years later where Britt grown up to be a typical spoilt kids who love to make his father mad at him. Spending most of his times in party, fighting and women. Due to his father fame, he is always feature in the newspaper which added the fume towards his dad. Later on, his dad was found dead due to allergic to bee stings.

His attitude then changes right after the death of his father, who he fired all his father maid and then rehire Kato(Jay Chou) a mechanic, skilled martial artist and his dad coffee maker. He and Kato who has hatred towards Britt's dad decided to cut off the head of his dad's sculpture as a payback. After doing so, they saw a couple being mugged by a group of peoples which they ended beating the crapz out of them, however police mistaken them as a criminal, chases them on the street but failed to catch them as Kato evades them and drive them back to the mansion.

Cameron Diaz (Lenore Case)

Britt then convinces Kato that they should become crime fighters who pose as criminals in order to infiltrate real criminals and prevent enemies from using innocents against them. In addition, he hired Lenore Case, a criminology degree holder, to be his assistant and researcher who unknowingly assist Reid in the Green Hornet activities.This therefore starts the journey of Green Hornet. It was last Wednesday which me n my hsemate went to watch this movie frm GSC Pavilion.

Its a nice movie. Like the plot a lot but its pretty damn SCARY. the first half of the story started to creep my out.

The story starts with a group of accused witches, were drowned by group of priests. When one of the priest performing the ritual of getting rid the witches from coming back, one of the witches came back into her life and kill the priest. The story then jumps until few years later when a group of Christians fought in the war to get rid the non believer. However the two knights who happened to be the main cast acted by Nicholas Cage and Ron Perlman, decided to desert the war after seeing women and childrens being mercilessly killed by the group. While they roaming around the way home, they come into knowledge of the Black Plague that swept across the land. The plague has affected a lot of peoples and manys had died from suffering the plague. People believes that the plague is caused by the evilness.

As the two knights came across the town, they accidently shown their sword which label the signed of cross. They were took to see the Head Priest who is infected by the plague. The cardinal who then asked both knights with a group of people to escort an apparent suspected witch to a secluded monastery of expert monks who can determined Anna(suspected witch) whether she is a witch and if she is, the monks will go through a sacred ritual to get rid her power and also to removed the plague. Whilst on the way to the monastery , many things happens. Many scary things happen.

Everyone asking me, why on earth i love taylor swift so much. Taylor Swift is my favorite singer and I'm a big fan of hers.

Story starts when Taylor released her first single 'Tim Mcgraw', which i instantly fell in love to her song. People wonder how i come across to her songs since she is not as famous previously (in the UK when she released her first album) compared to her recent fame, the reason would be my insane hobby for searching new songs through youtube..

After listening her hit song 'Tim Mcgraw', i'm totally addicted to her song, hence i bought her very first album via Amazon when i was in my uni year in the UK. Ever since that, i listen to most of her song, follow all her update and bought her concert ticket in London 2 years ago. Sadly, i didn't managed to catch the concert as i was in Malaysia back then.

The main reason on why I love her songs are the way on how she bring out a typical life stories of teenager into a great song. There are times where some words she wrote in her song, meant something to me, something more than a song, something that i have experienced before and touches deeply into my heart. For me, every single words in her songs means a lot, especially the song, Picture of Burn.
Her songs reflects a lot of things such as up and downs a relationship, a life as an outcast, being sorry for an action that hurt someone we that loved. She has the stand out personality, a person who dare to SPEAK out loud things that others don't do so.Its so inspirational.

The song of hers that i really love a lot are The Outside, A place in the world, Tim Mcgraw, Teardrops of my guitar, Picture to Burn, You Belong to me, White Horse, Forever and Always. As for her latest album, i love the song Haunted, Mine and Sparks Fly and Back To December. I bought the first two singles through Itunes when it firstly released :D

If I Were the Green Hornet

Crime is never unending but if i were a green hornet, i would be a person who solved the crime indirectly, with the aid of authorities.

My plan would be employing an undercover, preferable those that been in the crime itself such as criminal who were sent to jail to serve their sentence. In order to do so, first, a research have to be made by choosing the criminal, the offender chosen has to be a good prisoner who have been remorseful on his action. Secondly, forming a bond of trust between myself and the offender, where a deal can be strike up between him, me and the authorities. The deal is to get the authorities to release him as a criminal and to have the offender give information on current situation of crime he currently convicted. However by doing so, i would make sure it will benefit those authorities as most convicted criminal involved in such crime will will have partner, group or known friends in doing such crime, and by letting the offender out with conditions, it will have better chances in getting rid those crimes. Further, i would give my words to the the authorities that i would give a better lead that what the authorities have now by letting me liaising with the offender itself. As to the criminal, i would trade him back his right to be a 'free man' with a layout of condition in return for his service to give me a lead in the involving crime. However in his right as a free man, it would be in certain limit where his track will be recorded through a GPS which limits his movement to the conscious of authorities and myself. Further, the criminal would able to interact to his previous fellow of crook in becoming an undercover of the case, though include himself back into his prior jail life in order to capture more criminal.

In doing this, i would be able to save those remorseful criminal from his punishment so he could lead his life as a better person in future, but in return to lead other criminals to charge and send into the gallows to serve the crime that are done.

This will give a chance of rehabilitate the offender by giving chance of doing something good in return, whilst getting myself in working through the light of the authorities, in the safety of public.

Happiest moment of my day

Its totally unfair if i say im not happy today. I am way too happy today, coz after being groggily woke up by my dad at 1pm (not im lazy but i slept at 4am), im totally tired.. Logged into facebook and saw some swifties's from sg asking me whether i want to buy her concert ticket. After prompt replies in regard of pricing, i feel suspicious of why so many ppl selling off their CAT1 and 2 tickets.

I browse the SISTIC's website, i found that there are tickets available. Little on seating and restricted view but a lot of standing tickets which i never seen before. Quickly after the prior dissapointment, without further hesitation, i booked the ticket, typing out the credit card(which daddy gladly give me after i reach the age of 18) and then, the happiest moment of the day, i got the booking confirmation (shown below).

Not only that, i got the news, that my dad will visit me again in Kl this saturday and sunday.. Nothing can beat the above news though the total amount of taylor's ticket, is almost half of my monthly expenses allowance.

Christmas in the Peak

Spending xmas in genting used to be a ritual for our family.. its seem not the case after i went to study in uk.. all because of me, we change yearly trip to my summer break or any holidays i came back to Malaysia. Instead travel within malaysia, we went abroad.

But this year, back to the routine, we travelled within malaysia for year end break. Genting, Langkawi and KL itself. Langkawi for beach, Genting for xmas mood, casino and theme park and Kl for shopping.

Genting is not actually in the plan firstly, due to no room available in the internet. We got our room from the resort world one hub in wisma genting on the 24 after reaching Kl from Langkawi. My bratty brother insist of going to Genting on xmas day which cause everyone to be tired. Got 2 deluxe room for triple price in First world. Costing 350rrm for each room inclusive 2 breakfast. Its hell so expensive but then, daddy say once in a while splurging a bit nevermind.

I spent most of my time with my sis in Genting, roaming around the theme park, walking around watching shows, camwhoring and hanging around in starbucks to online while, my parents and bro spent their time in casino or hotel rooms. As usual, going to casino meant losing money, hence this is the case of my bratty brother. Playing endless rounds of roulette, he losses more money. I went into casino in the nite with him, spending 3 hrs to watching him gamble. No fun..

Though, spending xmas in genting reminds me on my high school's year end break to genting. Walking around in christmas season in the cool weather of genting. Its doesn't seem to be like in Malaysia. Everyone in christmas mood, every single decoration reflected the christmas season and the crowd of people walking around in celebrating the birth of Christ. Its amazing :D

Sunshine, Beach and Booze in Langkawi

love the sunshine much more than the wintery cold.. thus, my year end trips was Langkawi.. The land of eagle..

Have so much fun with my family tho :D been to cable car, lagenda park and few places of interest. Its not my first time but repeating it does not cause any harm.. With the luxuries of having car, staying few minutes walk from the hotel room, its absolutely heaven..

Its the most relaxing trips that i ever wanted for the whole year.. enjoy every single day without any worries.. cant wait for more trips to Langkawi since i'm in msia :D

Christmas season is the best. i love xmas.. not only remind the good news of christ but also the joyous celebration around the city. Every mall is decorated by huge bling bling xmas tree, lots of musical performances, and guess what, its also includes cheerleading. A sport that i loved since high school though it reminds me that i fell from the top as a flyer in university cheer team..

Cheerleading performance is going on every friday n saturday in sungai wang.. Somethings i look forward to after a long hours of lectures with another law subjects..

Not only xmas performance light out my dull boring life in kl, my xmas break will be here in a week plus. I gonna have an annual travel trip:D Not sure where yet, but for sure, Langkawi is our first stop.. wohoo.. imagine lying on the beach, get my damn skin tanned, serene peace and lastly cheap booze.. its shall be fun!!! cant wait for the sun!!

i should have gotten it earlier.. damn my procrastination.. im so screwed.. praying hard, some one letting go their ticket.. omg omg.. i miss her concert in london and i'm not gonna miss this one again.. i wont mind traveled early in the morning if i cant get a flight out on 9th, to hop into a bus to reach sg and watch the concert, stay over a nite plus skipping my lectures on the nite itself.. screw the land law.. i cant be bothered as long as i got ticket........... argh..finger crossed pray hard for it..

Quaint little city of Aarhus

Aarhus, the main city in Jutland, 2 hours away from the famous Copenhagen is somewhere worth to visit for a day or two. Though its inhabitants are mostly students rather than locals, its has the mixture of beauty as a city and quaintly small town :D

When i was in Aarhus, i travelled with my dad and his friend by car from Viborg, small city of mainland Denmark. Most tourists that goes to Aarhus will normally hopped the train from copenhagen n it will take 2 to 3 hrs..

There are quite nice city and its concise in a way that you can visit most of the attraction area by foot. Thatz what we actually did. Practically, most city in Denmark, u can just walk around it.. While walking, admire the beauty of its architecture.

Gala Premiere of Peter Pan's Musical

The Peter Pan's Musical will be held daily (except Tuesday) in the Amphitheater of Sunway Lagoon from 26 November 2010 to 2nd January 2011

Hence it was last Friday, i was given the opportunity to attend the Gala Premiere of the Musical. I went to the show together with two of my friends. With three of us there, it will be a hell lots of expectation, as three of us went to the London musicals previously albeit not together.

Main entrance of Sunway Lagoon

I was told during the sneak and peak, that we should arrive early to get a better seat as it will be free seating even in the given 'media' seat. So we were there around 7.30pm after our dinner.

When we were in the lagoon, we were given two choices either to get up to the train or walk to the amphitheater. We opted to walk just to see the surrounding. Its quite a nice surrounding although it will be even better when there are more lighting to bright up the area. Probably not spotlight but dangling light to make it more like walk to Neverland.

After reach the main entrance, i'm entranced by the hospitality of the staff. We were told to take picture @ main entrance, though later we can purchase it for rm25 (which i didn't buy but take myself :x). Then we were given water so we will stay hydrated for the show. :D

The stage of the show is lovely.. love the lighting :D

It was when the clock struck 8.15 and the show has yet to start, the pre-recorded voice telling the audience that the show is going to start in 5 minutes and it kept repeating it more than three times. Soon the 5 minutes became 30 minutes, and finally at around 8.30 where Mr Colby, the director, came up to give the intro of the show. The show last around an hour. After the show, media were again given opportunity to do meet and greet with the cast, production group and also the dancer. I only take picture with the dancer on that night as i took my picture with the cast week before the gala night, through the Sneak Peek of the show. After the meet and greet, refreshment was served :D

There are pro and cons of the show as usual.

The pro for the show is, its nice show for family, especially a good exposure for kids in watching more live show as well its a rare opportunity for Msian to see a production by London Westend. Secondly, the show does not have intermission in between which, making it better to watch in a whole shot.

The cons for the show are; firstly the musical is too short in comparison to the UK musical show, secondly the quality of dancer are not up to expectation where synchronization is an issue, thirdly, the change of the props were too much, it makes the whole show looks messy. Finally, the location of the show, i would suggest that the musical should be held in a closed area. Like a hall. Because the impact of the sound system in a hall will be better compared to an open amphitheater.

I hope that the negative views given shall be taken as encouragement to help them (both the musical cast and the production team) improve and improvise a good Musical in future.

Its quite a nice experience to see a WestEnd show in Malaysia albeit the cons that were given above. I would like to thanks ambp and my star to give me the experience to capture the magical musical mentioned above.

Its the start of advent today & its snowing in england. Read from Dailymail and saw picture from my friend's facebook picture..
Did i miss the snow? i assure you the answer u will Yes and No! I miss the snowflakes that showering around but not the cold. If i have to go through the cold just then my answer will be a big NO! i dont like the cold and windy weather anymore.

But now, i'm glad that im in Malaysia. Though its rainy, i still appreciate the heat, and the sun:) At least i no need to worry whether i have enough clothing on me before the cold hit me. :)

The christmas celebration in Malaysia getting to be well welcome. Many shopping mall starts to get their xmas decoration prepared. While i went to see the Musical in Sunway, i was impressed by the way they decorated the mall. I feel the xmas mood.. they even have mini musical going on, making all Msian feel the festive season. Christmas seem to be so important for me after 3 years abroad. The only long break of uni we've gotten is Xmas and Easter. The most celebrated occassion also those two. Though i'm not in UK, i still find the importance of Xmas. The birth of our Christ :D

The decoration by Sunway make me thinks that Christmas in Malaysia is quite good. Pretty decoration and well celebrated festive, and no need to endure the winter pain of shivering under the cold :D

Case of the Stolen Keys to Tron: Legacy by TGV

A set of keys containing tron: legacy show reels have been stolen. It was taken from a Projectionist's room of the TGV cinema.

Now, calling all Malaysian help to solve who have stolen the keys and where the keys have been hidden.

There are few facts given to this case:
The date and time of the said incident took place on 15 of November 2010 at 1930hours.
The last seen place of the aforesaid keys: A miniature drawer of the projectionist's room from TGV cinema
Evidence found in the scene: A few strands of golden hair.

Investigation have taken place and current status of investigation suggested that the culprit of the aforesaid crime probably an insider. Albeit to this, no arrest have been made.

Further information was given where the projectionist who known as Mark, had left the keys in the drawer while he left for washroom. When he came back, he saw his drawers had been scuffled and the keys were gone. He reported to the manager in charge Mr Muthu who then trust his employee that he will not be the one who do it as he is a trustworthy employee and a religious person.

Thus, they are asking help from all Malaysian to help to find the culprit who stole the keys.

By helping to seek out the culprit, a REWARD has been set out for those who is able to find the culprit.

Viborg, Jutland Denmark :D

The main purpose for me to arrange a trip to Denmark is to visit the city of Copenhagen. It been my dream country since young. The environment, architectures and the laid back life attract me. Despite,everywhere in europe seems laid back except the hustle bustle london.

While i mentioned Denmark is one of the country we're going to visit during our trips, he popped up an idea to visit his friend. After making necessary communications with his friend, he told me he stayed in the Jutland, a small town called Karup and not in Copenhagen. I gave our itinerary to my dad so he can arrange it with his friend and guess what, my dad told me, we're flying to Jutland rite after we landed @copenhagen. Tickets and accommodation has been settled by Dr. This means i can visit more places than i actually planned without incurring more money in the travel arrangement though its never my own money :x

Reaching Copenhagen @ evening time, we flew using norwegian airlines to the small town of Karup. This is courtesy of Dr. Shihan himself. My dad was bouncing the whole trips as he haven't met Dr for quite a long time.

He then brought us to our cottage hotel. I cant describe how beautiful the cottage is. Its so homey, country-ish. Absolutely breathtaking although when i saw it, its dark outside. We were given 2 rooms for our visit. A very nice hospitality indeed.

He picked us up in the morning in his cute mercedes car, going to visit his house. His estate is huge... a big land with a homey cottage house. struck speechless. I was introduced to his wife, sons and chubby cutie cat. :D

Dr. Shihan, is one of the prominent martial artist in Denmark, a good friend of my father. Both of them engaged in martial arts conversation while i talked with his wife and playing with the cat. :)

Later in the afternoon, we went for lunch in the town, and went to walk around the city itself.

After having a little walk, we went to Dr's martial arts gym in the city of Viborg. I was impressed with the facilities of the gym. Its cool :)

Besides his gym, he runs a home for orphanage. He give those orphanage home, education as well as teaches them martial arts. The home of orphanage is outside the city. The estates that he owned in running the home of orphanage, is HUGE. The surrounding of the home is peace and quiet. I can feel the tranquility to stay here..

After the visit to his home of orphanage, we went for dinner and thatz it for the day in Karup and Viborg. Nothing much to see but i enjoyed the countryside :D

Many people in Malaysia suffered from abusive lifestyle. Some even never disclose it. Its normally occurs on women or children. The pain suffered on them are unmeasurable. But who will know this pain?

Victim who suffered abusive situation will normally close it out from public. From my pro-bono and court attachment experiences, i knew some victim from abuse. Those victims was never a first instance victims. They have been continuously abused through a long period of their life as they were too frightened to do something about it. These cases that i learned are normally incurred both adult and child victims and its always includes emotional abuse.

I am the one who strongly argreed that children should never been abused or violently to caused pain. I also hope that Emotional abuse will disperse in this world though it will highly impossible.

Childhood should always be a happy memories. But this never be the same for everyone. Some have a bad childhood. Those abandoned children, abused children and those child refuges. Life ain't always fair but yet, you can always made it better. By raising awareness to the public, it will help those children. Starting with helping abusive children, people can help by just by talking to parents so that they realise their wrong, or worst of all, report the abuse to the local authority and governing NGO.

In my circle of friends, I learned some of them have an abusive parent. They have been suffered mentally rather than physically since young. I was told that some of the parent normally hit their mother when the father suffered a bad day of work. The child will stood there watching the mother being brutally slapped and hit by the father. That abusive situation occur until my friend finished high school. Isn't this a torture? Isn't this need help? But why no body help? People ain't aware of the abuse itself or they tend to ignore them even they knew of that. That is the attitude that i absolutely detest.

I was further told that this case been reported to the police. The police yet do nothing abt it. Both the mother and child should have been insistently reporting the case until a follow up could be done, but they never done it. They continue living in the situation but luckily it gets better today.

For those children or youth who read this blog, i would like to let you know, such abuse should be reported and taken into action.

In my opinion, a children who below the age of 18 are protected by the law in term of their right as well as their well being. The child should be properly care and love, and not to be mistreat or to be exposed to violence.

Not all public aware about their legal right provided by the constitution especially Article, not even yet to mentioned child. Public should aware of their right and as an Adult, if you know children being abuse, you should help them. Report to the governing NGO who specialised in helping abusive children or if its a women that being abused, report to the NGO who helped the battered and abused women. The former are the UNICEF and the latter is the WAO. Both played a very helpful role in helping those battered women and child. Both women and children are normally the compliment as abusive victim. Thus this information is very much needed. Besides this, in common area of child neglect or mild child abuse, public can plays important role, especially they in situation where they could raise their awareness to the families and community in ensuring positive influences to the child

Violence normally suffered not physically but also emotionally. Those who being mentally suffered and not being helped, will have scarred their mental development and stability. These abusive image will haunt their live as they will never learnt to trust people. I'm personally speak through my experience by having such friends that going through such deep end experience of their life.

EMOTIONAL abuse besides the physical abuse, is the most common and highly suffered by children. Those that emotionally abused are normally those unknown to the public. These children are those that needed to be helped. The awareness of people surrounding the mentally abused child should help them through confided their situation to the respective NGO or even talk to the parents or guardian. The typical types of emotional abuse derives from humiliation, witholding of love, blaming, frightening, threatening, terrorising, discrimination, ridiculing and other non physical form of rejection or hostile treatment.

It should enlightened to public that the effect of abuse especially emotionally abused shall not be taken lightly as it will cause a serious damage to a child's physical or mental health. Notwithstanding that, it also cause an impair of child's physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.

These impairment will led to a clearly evident of the mental or behavioural disorder such as anxiety, depression, withdrawal, aggression or delayed development.(S.17(2)(B) Child Act 2001)

Although emotionally abuse is what i really wanted express to raise awareness in the society as well in hope to end it, there are also other child abuse that i really concerned such as physical abuse, neglect and lastly sexual abuse. The sexual abuse is another scariest experience of life. Those child that been sexually abuse will never speak out. The only people could raise the awareness to the child and the authority is the people surround him or her. Its therefore need, a public that willing to cooperate in helping such children. I beg those people who knew children being abused, please raised awareness to others and help the children. Please don't let them suffer in silence.

The protecting article in regards to the children protection will be article 19 of Convention on the Right of Children (CRC)give the protection from all forms of violence. Its says that children have the right to be protected from being hurt and mistreated, physically or mentally. Government should ensured such children are properly cared and protected from violence, abuse and neglect by parents, or anyone else who looks after them". With such well written article that protects the children, How many people aware that government can help them. How many people can enlightened the child. Will the children aware that the suffering they suffered are considered ABUSE? I could say rarely cases on abusive children would come in light. The main problem is AWARENESS

Before raising awareness, public should first have to learn what is constitute an abuse. By understanding the concept as well looking depth into the subject matter, they can proceed to do their part in raising the awareness to their peers. By learning the sign of violence or abuse in children and report these cases, its help many children in the country. Albeit that, breaking the silence and spread the message that violence against children is not accepted and its undermines child development is essential in raising the issues to the society. Further, challenge social acceptance of violence through engaging parents and children, and activate groups in the community to find the ways to stop violence.

It is also essential for both public and children to understand that there are governing Act that protect the children from the abuser is Child Act 2001 and the Penal Code 1957 in which will carries a fine not exceeding RM50,000 or up to 20 year imprisonment or both.

I would really say, i hope this child abuse will stop one day which its highly impossible to attained. I really don't want to see many more children who grow up in abusive situation especially emotionally abuse and later in their life, they will be haunted by the memories of abusive childhood. I hope all of you outside, will hand in hand to stand up to battle the end of the abuse. Raise your hand and get on board to stop child abuse, as i raise up both my hand to get on board to help those children. Again, Please don't leave the innocent children suffer in silence.

Sneak Peek of Peter Pan's Musical

Have u ever watch a musical in Malaysia??? If the answer is NO, then in a week time you will be able to enjoy the famous musical of Peter Pan corroborated by the London WestEnd production. It will be perform live from the Sunway Lagoon Amphitheater every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sat & Sun.

Before the gala premiere of the Peter Pan's Musical, i was given a chance by the AMBP to have the sneak preview before the actual event, together with other bloggers.

In the sneak peek, we were given a brief introduction of the general show as well as the gala night itself. I have been told that we will catch the Peter Pan's Express Train to Neverland once we enter the park at the gala night. It will based on the theme of CHRISTMAS in LONDON. I was so happy when i was told about the theme. Never i thought, i will able to feel the magical of Xmas in London @ Malaysia, n hopefully, it will turn out the be a big surprise for the people in Malaysia.

Why Peter Pan is chosen to be the Musical by Sunway Lagoon?

The reason being are because it is widely known throughout Malaysian especially children, as well as it has the international flavor that will bring in line with the celebration of Christmas. Further, the director of the show Mr Colby said: "The story of Peter Pan resonates well with people from all walks of life because it is not just about staying young forever, it is about staying true to yourself and having fun while making the best out of any situation. Sunway Lagoon is the perfect venue for Peter Pan -The Greates Adveture because it is a place where the young and old come to release their inhibitions, have fun and be themselves.

In the sneak preview show, the 4 main cast give us the 10 minutes brief show from the performance. These 4 main casts who flew all the way from London will be the one who perform to us this magical musical in the Sunway Lagoon together with their dancers from other counterparts of the world. In just a brief 10 minutes show, these 4 casts had captured the attention of the bloggers.

In my own view, although the sneak peak was not as magnificent as what i have seen in the previous musical show i watched in London, such as Les Miserables and Billy Elliot, i still find its a stunning show, taken into account that it is just a brief 10 minutes sneak peak with no special effect. The only thing that guided the sneak preview show was the sound system.
Further, I was actually stunned by the voice of the lady who played the role of Wendy in the Musical. Her voice is so breathtaking. I really cant wait to see the real show tho. Hope it will turn out well as Sunway might do more musical shows.

After the sneak preview of the show, we are given the opportunity to interview, take picture with the 4 main cast as well as going up the stairs the see the real performance scene. The bedroom of Wendy, the ship as well as the beautiful big ben and london landmark. By learning from the interview, we were told that the lady who played Wendy recently just married. With her commitment and her love towards the show, she never hesitate to join the cast and flew all the way from the Europe to the Malaysia. I am highly impressed by her passionate dedication towards her work. And through my rambling with the cast, i learned that all 4 of them has starred in various theater musical that shown in WestEnd as well as all over the UK. In addition , Peter who cast as Smee told that in 2 weeks time, he learned the concept of 1Malaysia and impressed with the racial integration between the peoples in Malaysia. When they were asked about the delicacies in Malaysia, the lady who cast as Wendy, added that she loved the foods in Malaysia and found that the foods in Malaysia is unique yet delicious.

I also learned that this magical showcase will assembled the cast from all over the world with the dancer from Brazil, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. It will be directed by Chris Colby and choreograph by David Kort. Both of the director and choreographer are highly qualified as they have worked with many musical production in the internationally and the UK itself. In the interview with the choreographer, Mr David, he told us that the cast have been practicing for almost 2 weeks and he predicted it will be going to be a good show.

With no doubt, this musical will be a highly entertaining for both young and adults, where it give us different experience of theater musical ever produced in Malaysia.

It is a rare event that you would able to experienced. However, for those lucky Malaysian who have been to the WestEnd's show, why dont head out to Sunway and experience whether this musical production produced by the WestEnd itself will be able to bring the memories of the magnificent musical in London you've watched back into your mind.

It was a lovely trip to Copenhagen. And together with me n my dad was a private tour guide hired by my dad's friend, Dr. Shihan. His hospitality was superb. Dr Shihan himself is not from Copenhagen but it a small city of Karup in the Jutland of Denmark. He flew us from Copenhagen to Karup and extended his hospitality not only in Karup itself but also in Aarhus and Copenhagen. We are so much appreciated his effort to make our stay in Denmark easier and meaningful.

Okay back to Copenhagen.

It was a good start of the day tour. Starting from the city train station passing through Tivoli park, to the City Hall. From there cut into Stroget, beautiful shopping street that bring me to the Gamma Strand, where the beautiful sidewalk along the river. From there, Parliament buildings or better known as Old Palace are within our sight. After capturing memorable pictures, then walk around the beautiful river of Copenhagen, where next, National Gallery in sight. It was juz a stone away, where the Nyhavn located.

Further after the beautiful Nyhavn, went to the main royal palace of the Monarchy of Denmark. The Amalienborg Palace. 4 similar building in the corner of the land. One of them are for the Queen, Crown Prince and 2 among it, are open for public viewing. The four palaces was facing the an equestrian statue of Fredrick V. From here also, the Marble Church are in sight. Its a huge dome looking church and its magnificent

Walking along the beautiful waterfront facing the National Opera House, it will bring you to the royal dock and later to the Langelinie. A park where a beautiful catholic church situated as well as the famous Little Mermaid was found. It was the very day, that the Little Mermaid is going to be transported to China for an Exhibition. It was a little sad day for Danish to see the landmark being shipped to China for 6 months and they are all in the park to say goodbye to the little sculpture.

After the farewell with lovely little mermaid, we head to the other side of Copenhagen. Visiting the Opera House and also the Naval Base. From there, we going off our free and easy walk around the city.

It was quite a fun and tired day in copenhagen. A city that offer tons of tourist attraction with its historical background. A great place that worth a visit. Nothing beat a tired day with a cold glass of Carlsberg along Nyhavn. ~Cheers mate~

staying around bukit bintang is EPIC.. guess what, after being dissapointed for not going to leona lewis world tour in England this summer, i finally able to meet her... I supposed to be able to go her concert as planned, i will be doing my master back in uk but then, due to unforeseeable circumstances, i'm not. This particular year, i miss out her tour as well as taylor swift's tour. The worst of all is that i already bought Taylor swift's concert ticket n ended up, i didnt go.. :(

Anyway, after 7 hour straight classes, came home in exhausted mode. Then after shower, sat in front my laptop, i heard sound of helicopter flying around. I told my hsemate that maybe the sultan of pahang going to stay in the istana pahang nearby our place. But then, she told me she heard ppl screaming and loud song playing around. Guess what, as busybody, i gone to search for event @ bukit bintang n i found, there is the Volkswagen Launching for some new car and it will have a music showcase featuring the veronicas and LEONA LEWIS.

No matter how tired i am, i changed and walk as fast i can walk to Changkat and squeeze myself to the few front row.. Being short and small is always the best advantage.

When the last song "Bleeding Love", the crowd gone absolutely crazy, singing together with her. Omg.. its so much fun although i reached home around 1am and i need to wake up ard 7 for morning class.. But all this, worth it...

While browsing the net, i found that there will be a theatrical musical to be held in Sunway. It drift me back to my memories of going to the famous West End musical in the UK especially queuing up for Billy Elliot, Lion King and Les Miserables's show tickets during term breaks.

The Peter Pan's show that going to be showcase in Sunway will be one of the first show of musical that i would be able to attend after a year back from the UK. I hope i would able to go tho.. But first, i need to get a tix. As ambp blogger, i hope i could secure a free tix. It would be nice when i could actually see the real musical from my childhood book. And hell yeah, i get to blog and tweet abt the show.. Pray hard, i will get to be one of the person that able to get the tix. it will be shiok rite.. :D

It would be another experience to see how the musical in Malaysia will be! I bet it would be super fun as this would be my very first time to have experience the musical show in Malaysia.

Its more than a week i have been in kch.. Been so emotionally and physically drowned.. But then, it wont end here, cause its gonna be another tired weekend coming up end of this week..

I gonna fly back tomorrow after my emergency break i took. Cant wait having the whole night and day myself before whisking my butt to Fri evening class at 6pm..

After that, its gonna be a hectic weekend starting with 5+2 hrs straight seminar and lecture on the very lovely saturday. I presume it will physically drain me on saturday before starting another stressful 5 hrs boring lecture on sunday.. Weekend never sounds relaxing for these few years.. Its either work, wushu classes and even worst now, classes..

Hopefully next week, i will be free. back to my laid back lazy kl life... its HOLIDAY!! Maybe i should plan some thing to do like travelling.. Going to Hat yai sounds nice.. bus tix is not expensive either.. No more beach for a while as tsunami landed in sumatra a while ago.. better be safe..

Argh.. so much going on and my brain still cant grasped the reality..

I did something very productive yesterday. For the first time ever, i enjoyed so much spending in a 4 hours seminar. Highly useful and interactive.

A very interesting lecture entitled "Human Rights, Advocacy and Activitism" given by Edmund Bon held in the Kl Bar Auditorium.

In this seminar, only me and daniele are the clp student and most of all are the pupils. He started by saying, its probably higher level compared to normal seminars. By using his simplest form of words, we understand the context he is delivering. Actually i found that when listening to talks or seminars in Malaysia, i never need to put an effort to understanding them. Its a lot more easier than the UK. The people speaking in English in malaysia are easier to understand due to msian ascent.

The lecture starts with basic Q&A on the basic issues of HR in Malaysia. Its our opinion on some hr issues on the legal system in Malaysia. Ie: a standing perspective of death sentences.

Further, he dive into the illustration of our right through the Federal Constitution. Outlining our priviledge and right as a citizen in Malaysia. A lots of people in Malaysia never been taught on their rights and by not doing so, peoples will never realise their right has been violated. He also bring in all the legislation governing the human rights such as UNCHR. Some might been implemented by the government but some never been implemented.

After going to those introduction of legislation, he proceeds to the scary parts of case study. I was partnered with a lawyer to do a case study. Its about the right of refugees in Malaysia. I never thought of that Malaysia has no legislation that regulate the right of a refugees in the country. Instead of helping those refugees, some had been detained and arrested for an unlawful entry. Although there is a convention on this right to help those refugees when they unlawfully entered the country and seek refuges, the country measures some help for them like give them a status of refugees and give them a temporary stays until another country could give them an asylum. Something that governemnt should legislate.

Throughout this case study, i have learned more. such as i understand more about the procedure of court when filing habeas corpus or the judicial review. something i never bothered to read into.

Notwithstanding of the four hours of sitting in the auditorium with only less than 20 peoples, its an interesting seminar. I'm not regretting of paying the rm20 and listen to those interesting approach of HR.

2 week holiday is approaching soon.. thinking shud i go back kch or not.. im in dilemma tho..

the bright side of going back will be, i can disturb my sis..eat some yummy food especially yummy breakfast..In addition, it also give me more reason for not memorising my damn CPC or even civil procedure..

if not going back, what am i going to do in KL? Shud i just stay back and study whilst travel a short trip to Thailand or some island place alone?Or go Genting if someone wanna tag alone? or go Penang when Daniele is going back during weekend? Oh god. i'm pathetic :/

Living in Kl is very hectic.. i miss those laid back uk life.. Clp course is very bulky, very demanding much reading times. 100x more memorising work compared to the LLB.. I hope i will be the one passing the test in July.. I hate those dreadful 5 hours marathon lectures every weekend. 5 bulky subjects in 9mths.. Every statutes or cases must be memorised.. By passing it, will give me a great relief in a sense.

But its just saying.. but how much effort will i put into it is another question. I haven't start memorising it.. what i noe is juz the basic idea.. my cpc classes going to end this week, and will be starting the civil procedure next week. :(

Argh i should stop whinning like a grandma.. and get myself to bed before facing the 9am class tomorrow.

I'm still alive.. many things changed but yet, nothing too gratifying..

Got my life settled down in kl.. finally able to relax abit after lotz of dramaz.

now doing those nightmare papers in life.. sitting through 5 hours of Datuk Baljit's lecture every Sat n Sun, is a huge adjustment in life. Its been years since the last time i sat through a long hour classes.

He flying through all topics like an aeroplane, i'm catching up all the topics like a snail. my procrastinating behaviour make it worst. I suppose to read few chapters this week to catch up all those topics he flew through last weekend. Hopefully i can.

I felt so tired almost all the times. Never feel like that before.. Sleepiness kicks in before midnight, something that i never done before..

Probably this is a good change.. life isn't always beautiful and breathtaking, but so far for me, its still manageable..

As for this, will blog again soon :)

Berlin - Unter Den Linden to Brandenburg Gate

Unter den Linden, a famous road leading towards the Brandenburg Gate of Berlin. Along this road, its houses the various museum, landmarks, monuments, as well as souvenir shop of Berlin.

Starting from the Deutscheushes Historisches Museum, from the right walkway, you will find the
Neue wache. A former house guard house, it was later being converted to the national memorial of war. The most significant things of this memorial is the sculpture by Kathe Kollwitz. The sculpture which shows the mother holding the dead child.

Right after the Neue Wache, you will find the Humboldt University. It is the oldest university in Berlin.

Walking to the opposite of Humboldt University, reaches the Bebelplatz and the State Opera. Not to miss is the book burning memorial, which i totally forgotten until i reach home and read my travel guide. it was honestly the most important thing to do when u visit this square.

After this, it is the equestrian statue of Fredrick the Great.

After this statue, it wont be much more landmark to see until you reach to the Brandenburg Gate. However, the walk of this beautiful boulevard is just begin. The central of the road are transform into a walkway surrounded by the linden tree. Its amazing during the time i went there..

Through these beautiful boulevard, on the side of the shop are mostly big car companies. Its houses the Ferrari, Mercedes Benz and even Bugati. Its a heaven for those that craze of car..

Mademe Tussuad of Berlin is just located on the right side of the boulevard. However, i didnt went in during my visit. It seems that there is an important person coming to town that day as many police-car surrounding the Adlon Hotel.

Right infront of Adlon Hotel, is the famous landmark of Berlin, Brandenburg Gate.

Surrounding this beautiful gate is the Pariser Platz. In this square, houses embassies, Adlon Hotel and Museum of Kennedy.

Next stop is the Reichstag. Located near the Brandenburg Gate, it is the house of parliament. A place where u must visit.. take as much picture in the dome. I honestly regret for not taking much photo here.. due to the fact that both my camera are nearly died..

From the Reichstag, i went to the the Memorial to the Murdered Jews in Europe. Something that Berlin represented in the Holocaust Memorial

Berlin -Museuminsel

Its kinda nice after a walk around Alexanderplatz. Walking further up from Alexanderplatz, its led me to the magnificent Berliner Dome. Located in the front side of Museuminsel, its huge dome surely cant be missed. The cathedral itself was never been a cathedral as there are not Catholic Bishop in the city of Berlin.

Beside the Dome, i managed to visit some of the museum or precisely glance through the museum... camwhoring with the world renown UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Right next to the Cathedral is the Atles Cathedral which is the Old musuem. The exterior beauty of this building is similar to the Greek Atoa of Athens with the right statue of "Fighting Amazonian Women" while the left statue is the famous "Lion Fighter"

The central square surrounding the Berliner Dome and Atles Museum is known as Lustgarden. Its a lovely place to eat lunch or tea break during summer and spring.

Also must visit is the Bode Musuem located at the back of the dome. It houses the sculptures, coin and medals.

There is another museum adjacent to the Bode, which is the Pergamon museum. However, i didnt managed to walk into it or either camwhoring with the museum. It looks interesting tho, and later i found out that it actually houses 3 museum in the big building. It another interesting museum that i miss during my trip to Berlin.

Last museum that i went into is the Deutsches Historisches Museum which located in the Unter den Linden. Pretty interesting museum which outlines the historical background of Germany. The real reason for going into the museum is because it is free and we're in the rush of finding washrooms.:P

The next stop is Brandenburg Gate. Must visit landmark of Berlin. By going to the BrandenburgGate through walking, it just a straight walk from Unter Den Linden.

Berlin: Alexanderplaztz

Going to Berlin is about learning it history. Having a visit, leaving me to have a glance of its historical change. The growing industrial country in the early years crushed right after the World War 1 where the Third Reich and the dictator of Hitler begun.

The World War 2 led to destruction of most buildings in central Berlin and the building we see today are the reconstruction after the war. The huge city of Berlin was divided into 4 big major sector during the early years which are the West Berlin which divided into the French, America and British Sector and East Berlin (the USSR). As the growing tension between the West and the East, the latter built a wall to clear the division of it.

It was in 1989 where german revolution occurs which lead to a merged West and East Berlin in 1990. The revolution led to the fall of the famous Berlin Wall. After the fall of the wall, the East Berlin has evolved into a cultural mecca.

Visiting Berlin is easy. All the attraction are around the city. With the flexible subway line and cheap 3 day ticket, it is not a hassle to go around the city.I'm staying around the Oranienburger Strate which house the famous Neusynagogue. Its the first stop that i went for the 1st day in Berlin.

Then i stopped by the famous TV tower located in the Alexanderplatz. A tall standing tower attract tons of tourist during that day. It was where i stopped for my yummy breakfast. I ate kebab for my breakfast while my dad ate chinese food for his breakfast.

After our yummy breakfast, we started to walk further up where we managed to camwhore around Alexanderhaus, Church of Mariankirche, Rates Rahuas or the city hall and this magnificent Neptunbrunne fountain before walking towards the Museuminsel.

From the beautiful church, fountain, buildings and statues, we continue walking to the magnificent island of Musuems. =)

Second Day in Paris :)

As the first day passed with the dreadful long queue of Eiffel Tower, its times to buckle up our trip to visit other exciting attractions in Paris. Second day equal to the relax day.. admire the real beauty of Paris

Starting up with few pictures around Opera Garnier . The National Opera of Paris. The great architecture of the building makes it worth the visit.

Then, get into get into Champ Elysees. The shopping paradise for the shopaholic But beware, those things here can worth you tons of $$..

Stroll through the Boulevard, will then ended up walking to the Arc De Triomph.The arc is built to honour those who fight for France. Its an amazing arch with those skillful architecture.. :D

After Arc De Triomphe, another most visit attraction is the Notre Dame Cathedral. It is a Gothic Church. Huge Landmark of Paris.

Notre Dame is also the best area to drop off for a stroll along the River Seine... The walk along Seine is amazing.. With the wind breezing through the sidewalk of River Seine, its a magic.. By walking along the Seine, u can see many famous buildings.. the court, police station, concorde, musee de orsay and more

By strolling along the river bank of Seine, you will reach to Palais De La Concorde which is a huge public square.

After strolling around the Seine, i continue to hop into the bus to the Bastille / Bercy Area... The area that i never have the chance to visit on my first trip... I also able to look what the other sides of Seine that offer...

The main attraction of Bastille will be July column located in the heart of Bastille Opera.

From the circle of Bastille, i can see the different side of Paris. Its mostly on modern twist era compared to those historical part.

Passing through two of the 6 biggest train station in Paris around the area of Bastille / Bercy.

Another landmark of Bastille route is the Bibliotheque Nationale de Fance

Along this route, i saw the Hotel De Ville, which is the admistrative building of the country as well as the Parc De bercy, the biggest sport centre in Paris

Switching into the Montmartre line to get back to the hotel, we stroll through Les Invalides.. the beautiful national residences of the Invalides. The buildings house the military musuem of France, Musuem of contemporary history as well as the burial site of some war heroes such as Napoleon Bonaparte

The best part of Montmartre route is the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur

That was my second day in pAris :)

The unique historical and cultural Yangon :D

Yangon, the city of Myanmar, may not able to compete in terms to Singapore and Malaysia for its development and infrastructure. However this magnificent city can offer its beautiful cultural experiences. The laid back life in Yangon, could make a person look back into the historical colonial years.

Yangon is one of the cities that i wanted to visit. The ability to learned about the British Colonial period as well as to learn the culture of Burmese is something i looking forward too.. This Asian military-based country will give me distinguish insight view of its destruction as well as cultural difference in comparing with those country such as Germany and Poland.

I really interested to see historical breakthrough of a country especially after what i learned from my visit to Berlin and Krakow. For this purposes, the notable must visit sights are the Taukkyan War Cemetery which is a memorial of those Allied Soldier from British Commonwealth who died in Burma in World War II, Bogyoke Aung San market which famous for its colonial architechture, St Mary church which withstood through the World War 2, National Museum of Myanmar which entails Burmese art, history and culture, Yangon City Hall which seat the administrative body of the country, High Court(used to be the highest appellate court and also famous for its colonial architecture and its bell tower), Pansodan Street where the street is lined with pillared coloured colonial buildings in 20th century, Yangon Central Station which builts in 1877, destroyed in 1943, rebuilted in1954 and then stands till today despite much war and protest around the country.Not to be forgotten, the Martyrs Mausoleum which built to honour Aung San and the six Cabinet members that been assassinated, Aung San's House where he lived with his wife and sons before assassinated, Aung San Suu Kyi's House.

Beside its historical and current influences in its political arena, i should never forget for Yangon's beautiful cultural influences. The mixture of heavily Indian influences intertwined with its local tradition and Chinese influences. These remarkable cultural influences can be seen with some famous pagodas or better known as stupas around the city of Yangon. These stupas are the Golden Pagoda (or known as Shwedagon Pagoda), Sule Pagoda(built before the Golden pagoda), and Botataung Pagoda (Previously been destroyed in World War 2), Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda which houses the 70 meters reclining Buddha Image, Swedawmnyat Paya or known for its Buddha tooth relic. These sites are definite must go places around Yangon.

Additional to those cultural and historical monuments, i will definitely not miss this unique Karaweik(the legendary bird mount of Vishnu seated in east edge of Kandagyi lake).

Besides spending my time exploring the uniqueness of this developing country, i will try to accustomed the local cultures. By talking with them will be the best advantage although i cant i speak their languages. Will try to find someone that could speak English.

Not only that, i will definitely devour myself with the Burmese cuisine. The must try is the Mohinga which is the national food. Besides i might try Lahpet thohk which is pickled tea salad and Danpaukk, a Burmese's type Briyani

One Day in pAris :)

From Barcelona, we flew to Paris.. The City of Love / Light.

It was my second trip to pAris and i still look forward for the third time.. I flew with Easy Jet from BCN to CDG cutting the long bus trip to Girona or Orly airport if i use Ryanair..

Being the second time in paris doesnt gave me the same excitement as the first time in 2007. Felt like repetitive vacation instead of something that i looking forward too. I have visited the Louvre and Eiffel tower and if i went this trip, it would be a waste..

As i predicted, i didnt go into the Louvre as my dad have no interest in arts and the queue going into the musuem was long enough for hours of waiting.. Thus, we just camwhoring outside the Louvre..

However luck wasnt on my side when, i went up again to the so called amazing Eiffel Tower. Went up because of my dad wanted to visit.. cant complained much and i stuck into the queue for 4 hours for the ticket. even worst than my first trip.. oh yeah, i managed to get the student ticket without showing ID.. its 4euros different... The first day definitely a waste in Eiffel Tower.. by queuing for tickets to waiting the elevator, its 6hrs.. but the good thing was, the weather seems to be in our side.. its a cool day.

After Eiffel, we went around La Concorde and La Madeline before we went back to the hotel..

oh yeah, speaking on hotel, we stayed in Vintage Hotel in the area of Montmantre...A cool place to stay where it is near to all the amenities u needed.. Metro only 3 minutes walk.. Besides, i get it for cheap price..The reception told me the price that i paid is lower than the normal price.. but hell yeah, i got black and white... so they gave me the room.. its 40euros for 2 nights inclusive buffet breakfast.. i love their cereal choice tho.. definitely cool. :D

Placa D'Espanya, is one of the most important square in Barcelona. Located right on the foot of Montjuic. Overlooking from the placa to the top of the boulevard, it is the Palau Nacional which houses the Musee National Art Catalunya(MNAC).

i give up taking more risk in getting myself more hurt than i'm now.. i rather suffer the short term pain compare to the deeper pain in the future..

i'm giving up not because i dont have the feeling anymore..u cant doubt it.. but on top of that, its hurt to think tat both of us suffer the same thing.. the same problem.. the same insecurities..

the distance is already too much, on top of that was the time difference, its unbearable... its either i'm half asleep when u were talking or i was asleep and u leave the offline msg... or even u working while we talked..

i hate insecurities.. i have been in the worse and i dont want this occur in my life..

posting this could be a bad idea but who cares.. this is my blog and i post my own opinion.. if u read this, i could offer my apology for whatever i did before that hurt you. i know that u are blaming my decision in taking a year off, i'm really sorry for my decision that caused such chaos, but im not regretting my decision. No matter what, the issue of distance is still there, just minus the part of time difference..I'M SO SORRY..

Hustle Bustling La Rambla

Its a wise choice if you choose to stayed along La Rambla. Its kind of the middle of everything. u might be able to walk around to some places of attraction.

The street itself is not real safe as the huge crowd walking along the street almost whole day.. is a popular street. You can find buskers along the street.

This street stretch as long till 1.2km and surrounded by long-tree lined pedestrian mall...It start from Barri Gothic to Placa Catalunya as the middle and stretches down to Port Veil.

I, myself stayed nearby La Rambla in a small hotel called Hotel Barbara. Its a 5 minutes walk from the Liceu Metro Station.

Along La Rambla, you can find the famous Gran Teatre del Liceu and Mercat de La Boqueria. It is also walking distance to Cathedral del Santa Eulalia, Placa Reial and Santa Maria del Pi..

Not only that, you can all sort of shops around including Carrefour.... and this little booth of Halo~

The most spot things along La Rambla is the pavement mosaic by Joan Miro and the Font de Canales, famous fountain.

Beautiful park of Barcelona - Parc Guell

If u r fans of antonio gaudi, this is where u should also visit during your trips to barcelona. It is one of the UNESCO world heritage site listed under works of Antonio Gaudi. This unique garden complex is designed by the Gaudi itself and located in the beautiful district of Gracia. It was originally made as aristocratic city garden for single family residency however this project is a failure. It then turn to be the municipal property that used as public park.

The main gateway show two administrative pavilions made in stone, Catalan vaults and covered of "trencadis" (surfaces covered with irregular ceramic pieces) who is also profusely present in the park and also in other Gaudí works and Art Nouveau architecture.The gateway stands in Olot street and is situated among two pavilions. Both buildings are crowned by domes remembering mushrooms, the left one has a tower crowned by the typical of Gaudi four branches cross.

Entering into the park, it is a stairway divided by different figures before to arrive to a colonnade hall with 86 massive columns sustaining the big square. It is interesting to look at the colourful platons.

Along the middle of both stairways, there are the serpeant head, Catalan symbol of four bars, the dragon and a strange tripod.

The big square is placed directly above the colonnade and limited on the city side by the famous undulating bench. This bench is a marvel of shape, color and contrasts.The bench is look as a giant collage.

There are also different types of columns and a mosaic ceiling rosette in hypostyle colonnade that supported the big square

The pathway along the park is also the coolest pathway that i had seen before..

Amazing Church of Sagrada Familia, Barcelona

Without visiting this amazing church, you will never ever say that u went to barcelona. It has been my dream to go to barcelona since last year.Honestly, since i viewed my friend's picture via facebook. Finally after 1 year of wanting to go to this beautiful gothic church, i finally made it.

This amazing church has been starting to construct in the year 1882.More than 30 years since it started to construct, the building itself hasn't actually done yet. Every part of this amazing building is unique. It going to take more times to built this extraordinary amazing building an d it is estimated to b e completed in 2026.

From the musuem , i have read that the whole building of this church is privately funded b y the Roman Catholic Church

From it facade currently, you will able to period of Nativity and Passion of Christ. It was told that by the completion of the Sangrada Familia, it will host 3 grand facade which are the current Nativity and Passion as well as the unveil Glory's facade.

The nativity facade dedicated to the birth of Jesus, and it is the first to be built. The nativity facade hold the important of direct intervention of Gaudi

While in the Passion facade, it shows suffering periods of Jesus (either physical, spiritual and mental) in the hours before and including the time of trials and execution through crucifixion. It also shows the resurrection of Christ.

The yet to be reveal Glory facade will be the main facade that facing the sea.

Beside the facade, everything in this church is meaningful. The interior of the church is similar to tree branches that act as its pillars of the church.

The cloister complete the element of historical christians architecture which will be use in praying rosary in procession.

During my visit, i went into the church alone. My dad n 'that person' says its not important. They said i could go if i want... Guess what, who cares whether they want or no... its might be a lifetime chance to get into. it could be m y only time to be able to visit barcelona.

i'm not heartless okay... i only went in for about 30 minutes and didnt able to go up the top of the church, despite i paid the 12 euros to enter.

Its never a regret for me in paying the above 12 euros. the magnificent of the church is wordless.. the gothic architecture is juz amazing.

its important for every traveller that travelled to Barcelona, to visit its amazing architecture building from the modernisme such as Antonio Gaudi.

Most of the famous unique building such as Casa Batlo, Amatler, La Pedrera are located in the famous road called Passeig de Gracia,in the central of Eixample. Through the whole stretch of road, you could notice that tons of high street shop strecthing through both sides of the street. Through the establishment of the said shops as well as the uniqueness of buildings surrounding the street, the street is known as most fashionable street in Barcelona

The first unique building that you'll come through when you stroll the street from Placa Catalunya, is Casa Amatler. The Casa Amatler is situated right beside the famous Casa Batlo by Antonio Gaudi.

Casa Amatler is one of the famous modernisme building that design by another designer named Josep Puig.

Next to Casa Amatler, locates one of the famous Antonio Gaudi's creation. Casa Batlo or known as House of Bones and Skulls. The Building is built remarkable in order to attain the designer's dream of avoiding having straight lines. The building resembled a dragon and is decorated with broken ceramic tiles in creating the mosaic.

After a short walk from Casa Batlo, on ur right, you will see a magnificent architecture that similar to a quarry. It is Casa Mila or better known as La Pedrera. Its another creation of the famous Antonio Gaudi.

During ur stroll, you might be stunned by another unique building. It is the building with lots of haystack wires.. its definitely a weird design.This building is named as Fundacio Antonio Tapies

Casa Lleo Morera is another attraction in this famous walkway.. The building is not named through the owner's name but the meaning of lion and mulberry trees that designed as its motif.

It is important for those prospective traveller to Barcelona to visit this famous street walk.. Without visiting it, you will definitely miss most of its famous architecture.

The Giant Buddha & Po Lin Monastery

After several trips to Hong Kong, i finally made my visit to the famous Giant Buddha in HK. I probably eager to to v isit it as one of the people i travelled with, has been non stop wanting to visit the sculpture.

In order to reach the Giant Buddha, you able to choose whether u want to use the b us or cab le car to get up. We choose the option of use b us to get to the top and cab le car to get down from the hill.. It cost us lotz more cheaper and less hassle from using the cab le car. The queue to get into the cable car is extremely long.

The view from the bus is pretty.. Sometimes, a longer journey could give the chances of more scenery... :D

After 25 minutes ride, we reached to the top of the hill.. walking a little distance from the stops, we made it to the bottom of the stairs leading to the giant magnificent buddha, which seated at the peak of the hill..

After climbing a flight of stairs, we finally reached the top stairs of giant buddha.. Its a really HUGE buddha...

After half hour of roaming around the top, we started to make our way down to the PoLin Monastery.

After Po Lin Monastery, we head down to the cable car station to head down to the Tung Chung subway line..

Kelly Clarkson's Concert

This is a rush decision . Learning about Kellyw Clarkson having a concert in KL on 25 April in a matter of 2 weeks is real bad.... I'm not a big fan of Kelly Clarkson till i listen to the song 'Because of you'. I started downloading all her song from her first album till the latest one since end of 2009. Learning a bout the c oncert makes me determi n ed to get a ticket to fly out from the city of Kuching..

Its a hassle for east msian to go to kl to watch the tix. the cost of the concert tickets plus the cost of getting a flight to and from kch gonna cost a huge bomb. especially within 2 weeks notice.

Getting permission from daddy is a must as i just travelled back from Europe 3 weeks ago.. Spending more money gonna cost a huge bomb. Bearing the risk of getting scold, i went to consult my dad. Surprisingly he agreed with conditions... he gonna pay half of my cost of going there and i need to fork out my own money for the another half. Its actually a good news compare to the outcome i expected.

I started to booked my tix last week and found out a return tix from kch to kl on 25 and return on 26, will cost me rm420 for mas and 400 for airasia on.. Its damn expensive... Another option is reach kl on 24 late evening and leave on 26 afternoon for only rm300 through Airasia.The bad thing is, the plane arrive LCCT at 11.50pm which will leave me reach kl sentral at 1pm .. the hours sucks.. i'm contemplating on staying at LCCT till the morning before hitting the b us to kl.

Delaying day by day of not booking the tix, i finally able to get ticket for just rm170 one way from kch to kl via Mas on the morning it self and get another return tix from Airasia for rm175 at the early morning of 26..

It cost me a whooping rm375 for the tix and that a big thanks to MAS for a sudden cheap tix from kch to kl.. With those amount being charged through my credit card(courtesy of daddy), I went to get the kelly clarkson's concert tix via axcess.com. The payment website is a nightmare.. i have tried more than 10 times to load through both chrome an d firefox an d it's failed.. i gave up an d tried explorer an d it works perfect. After hours of battling with the site, i managed to go through all the payment site. The worst came out is the confirmation site... its says 'PENDING CONFIRMATIONS SEATS ARE LIMITED'... Wooh.. deep shit.. i have bought the tix and da damn web cant give me a confirmed booking..

But after 2 days of no response a nd a decision of callin g to the call cen tre n ext day, i fin ally got the confirmation email stating my ticket is confirmed.. huh.. its a damn huge relief... just cant expect i get through so much damn trouble just to watch the concert.. but pray hard.. those trouble will finally worth it..

It will be my more than 24 hours experience from Sunday morning 6pm till Monday morn in 10.05. Hoping i man aged to get to LCCT after the concert... hopefully with the access to plaza premium lounge will worth the wait in lcct for the early flight..:D

Disneyland Hong Kong

Its been a number of times for me to step into the soil of Hong Kong.. But yet i have never ever thought of going to the Magical World of Disneyland.

Its been my perceptive that the Disneyland in HK is unworthy to visit due the lack of amusement in it. Its the smallest Disneyland in the world..However, right now, i could only say, the perception is indeed correct. It probably worth for those first-timer to theme park... But for me, its definite NO

The entrance fees for the parks is HKD$250. Its consist of 3 parks. They are Fantasy Land, Adventure Land, and Tomorrow Land.

The only park that i really like is Fantasy Land.. It gave me the feeling of living in a fairy tale life... The beautifully decorated castle with the magical ride of carousel. Its a place where all worries gone...

today marks the 11th days for me to be travelling outside the country. sitting in the hotel in germany. the weather today is rather chilled in contrast to the freezing temperature yesterday...

The walks around the city today is quite fun.. quite amazing that my dad able to walked with me around the city without complaining the pain on his leg... managed to just catch 4times of S and U Bahn..while most of the time, we are on our leg discovering the city of Berlin.. :D

the excruciating part of Berlin will be where the east and the west was forced to be apart. the sadness crept into me when the people tried to go past through the wall and being shot.. its actually portray what is happen between the north and south korea.. its really inhumane treatment to people..

Nothing much could attract me from Berlin except for its rich history. Its rather a sad story for its people... the cruel dictatorship from Hitler and the Gestabo...

It was today that I managed to touch the famous pieces of Berlin Wall.. The small part of the wall that been preserved and refrain from its destruction..

6 more days and im off from those craziness.. i cant believe the chinese new year has disappeared and its soon to be easter... its been more than half a year im in msia.. spending most of my time in helping out my parents during my year off..

probably after months of slacving myself to help mydad, i got to get my dream of travelling to be fulfilled in less than a week.. starts to kickoff my trip from the modern HongKong for a week before leaving to the beauty of London . Next, to capture the beautiful architecture of Sangrada Familia in Barcelona leading me to step back again in the soil of romantic Paris. Honestly, i cant wait for my second trips back to Paris.. M Moving north from Paris to the country iconic landmark, Brandenburg Gates, Berlin. Visiting the europes doesnt seem enough without stepping to the land of scandinavia...it would be a waste if i didnt visit one of my dream Scandinavian country.. I felt Denmark has been calling me.. The beauty of Copenhagen is yet to be uncover..

The last leg will be back to the UK... Will travel from london back to Hull, the city where i spent my 3 year of undergraduate studies..After, i will travel to medieval city of york and the beautiful seaside city of Scarborough. Leaving the Europe end of March before landing to the city of lion,Singapore..From Singapore to Kuching mark the end of my travel in Easter..

Good mood normally followed by good news.. and the news is that i had my answer of my uncertainties.. a its so glad that everything went on plan..getting an offer after my year off is a relief.. havent decided going where for the course.. for sure not rejecting any offer yet till i'm donethinking both pro and cons of a uni.. without any doubt, i will be back in brits for my bar course...

honestly, i really regret my decision of getting the year off...its not exactly the happiest thing i'm experiencing. the haunting pain that i able to put aside after this thrice years, started to claim its existence. the unexplainable pain..

i honestly starting to hate my life. some ppl do think my life is a bliss.. what an assumption. i would never denied how fucked up my life is. i once thought giving up life is something that i look forward yet thinking back every hard work in getting myself today, its totally not worth it. i wonder when i can really escape such nightmare. is that a curse or what.. something i could never figure..

im honestly missing those 3 years whn im not in msia, forgetting all those haunting memories. undeniable that the homesickness crept in my heart when im abroad... the feeling of coming home every visit is outrageous. its purely joy.. but today, spending long term at home, its a torturous experience.

it might be utterly wrong to type or illustrate those pain.. its something that no one should have said.. it something that i should kept to myself.. but years of building these pain, its hurts...
